Searches are going on in the Central Valley for two men reported missing — a fisherman in Merced County and a hunter in Tulare County. In the Merced County case, Chang Cheng, 57, of Fresno, had been fishing on Thursday evening with family members at San Luis Reservoir State Recreation Area, off Highway 152 west of Los Banos. Around 7 p.m., he told his companions he was leaving — but when they later returned to the parking area, they found his car still there. His phone was in the car. Chang Cheng, top; Juan Velasquez.
