Lathrop's girls basketball team completed a perfect run through the first half of its Western Athletic Conference schedule Thursday, bursting past visiting Los Banos 37-30 thanks to a tide-turning third-quarter eruption. 'The goal was to get to the halfway point unblemished and get a look at everybody,' Lathrop coach Dwayne Davis said. 'We'll make adjustments in the second half and go from there, but we like the position we are in.'The Spartans (7-0 WAC, 14-6 overall) are two games ahead of second-place Mountain House, but five of their remaining seven contests will be on the road.
